Here’s the story of how I, a humble anime fan, decided to become the main character of my own life — with 0 plot armor and -3 charisma stats.
Let’s just say… it was NOT a shōnen success story 💀
🎒 Episode 1: “I’ll Just Be Late Dramatically…”
Every anime main character is late for school with toast in their mouth, right?
So I thought: “Let me do that. It’ll be ICONIC.”
📝 What actually happened:
- Bit the toast 🍞
- Burned my tongue 😫
- Tripped over my own shoelace
- Got yelled at by a toddler on a scooter
- The toast landed butter-side-down on my anime shirt 💔
Opening credits: ruined.

💥 Episode 2: “Training Arc (in the Gym of Doom)”
Naruto ran to the gym.
I Naruto-ran to Planet Fitness.
Day 1: Tried lifting weights like Goku.
Reality: Got stuck under a dumbbell and whispered “Believe in me…” as a janitor rescued me.
Spoiler: My abs still haven’t shown up.
My back, however, has filed a complaint 😭
🕶️ Episode 3: “Mysterious Cool Guy Entrance”
You know how anime guys walk in slow-mo with wind blowing and eyes half-closed?
I walked into class dramatically with sunglasses on…

💀 Banged into the door
💀 Said “Sorry, I mean… heh…” and choked on my gum
The teacher told me, “This isn’t Bleach, take your seat.”
Even the girl next to me whispered, “He’s not even a side character.” 💔

Anime characters always have those epic internal thoughts…
I tried it during a test.
👁️ Inner me: “I must remain calm. Focus. Strategy. This is my path.”
👄 Outer me: “Wait… how do you spell ‘refrigerator’?”
Bro… the teacher heard me. Everyone heard me. Even the goldfish in the class aquarium looked disappointed 😩

Turns out, being the main character is hard. But maybe — just maybe — I was meant to be the weird, lovable best friend who eats all the snacks and screams a lot.
