🧇 8. “The Grocery Store Breakdown”

It was one of those days — where your soul feels like it needs a software update 🫠

I went to the grocery store for no reason other than to wander through sadness with fluorescent lighting.
As I stood in front of the frozen section, clutching a box of waffles like they were emotional support, Adele started playing in the background. Of course. 🎶

Just then, a stranger passed by and asked:
“You good?”

I panicked. Looked them dead in the eyes and whispered:
“These waffles remind me of him…” 😢🧇
I don’t even know who “him” is. I just wanted to sound mysterious.

Then I added, “He was cold too.”
They slowly backed away.

I still bought the waffles. They were on sale. No regrets.
